This is more what your looking for:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... -OK&tool=5

It has a faster processor, and a gigabit lan (1000MB ps) network connection.

I personally would also wack in a graphics card, as you want to work with photoshop etc.... this doesnt have to be expensive:

As for the operating system, I can give you a windows xp key.

Do you need the desktop to be wireless?

Its alwasy better to use a wire.

If you must have wireless, then you can get a card for another £20.

ideally £350.
i want power for stuff like photoshop and be able to download at the same time.. without comp shtting itself lol.
good sound(altho its all 7:1 these days it seems..)
happy to spend more on processor if i can go basic in other areas..

i woild prefer wireless but if its really not the best thing for downloading i can wire it.. 8)

should be ok for a copy of windows but might well take you up on it if it doesnt work any more :D

errrmm T-Man if i could have the graphics card you mentioned thatd be great!

guessing its better than a £37 one..?

thanks OD good of you to take the time and do the links..
yep the comp looks fine..and cheaper too...

can we get it closer to the £350 mark?

thanks(lol cal is newbie) :flash:

If you have any experince with installing your own computer, or have a mate that could do it for you, I think a better option than buying a preconfiguered machine is to buy one of these overclocked bundles from here:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productli ... y=priceAsc

Beyond the cpu, ram, motherboard and heatsink(which is part of the bundle), all you need is get a case and a powersupply and your good to go.

I buy 95% of my computer stuff from these guys, they are good, and competitivly priced.

Iv also returned stuff to them as well, so I can recommend them with a certain amunt of confidence.

If you can, Id go for one of the quad core bundles.

Your obviously also need a graphics card as well, but I understand you have a card already in mind.

Oh and a hard disk!

Add it all up and see what the price ends up as..... maybe spending a little bit extra to get something better, is worth it.......

A little over £350 cant hurt?
